In October 2024 the M.E. Great Chief, M.E. Sir Knight Bernard Woods and the R.E. Grand Scribe travelled to Nigeria to Constitute & Dedicate 2 new Councils in the city of Abuja. A population of 1.7 million people in a over a large land mass & a mix of shacks, container houses, very large apartments and modern city buildings. The weather was in the low 30’s and very humid.
The Constitution & Dedication of Pearl Council No. 121 took place on Friday 11th October & Mount Zion Council on Saturday 12th October in the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndam. several Sir Knights travelled very long distances to the meetings and some had to fly in from outlying areas of Nigeria.
During the ceremony on Saturday the M.E. Great Chief proclaimed E. Sir Knight Hon. Nnamdi Ernest Ezike MFR as R.E. Provincial Grand Inspector for Nigeria which was greatly welcomed by those attending.
The M.E. Great Chief & Grand Scribe were afforded a very warm welcome and hospitality during their stay.
