Greetings to all Sir Knights and good wishes for the peaceful closing of this year and for the opening of the New Year with joy and happiness for all our membership and our loved ones and our colleagues.
May we hope that Freemasonry in 2025 will continue to be a gentle influence as a guiding light to fashion a better place for all in which to live in world peace.
We rejoice that during this year 2024 we have welcomed with gratitude new Sir Knights that have decided to embrace and extend our Masonic Chivalric Order by requesting Warrants for Kozhikode, Kerala, India (Saxena Council 120), for Wales at Castleton, Cardiff (Silures Council 123), for England at Oxford (Oxenforde Council 124), and at Newark (Coritani Council 125), for Nigeria at Abuja (Pearl Council 121), and at Awka (Mount Zion Council 122).
Following the Grand Council of Knight Masons Centenary last year, it has naturally followed this year that Great Chief’s Council (no number), Sharavogue Council 001, Shaftesbury Council 002, and Lurgan Council 003 also achieved their respective Centenary status. Next year my ‘mother’ Council, Babylon 006, in Dublin, will be celebrating their Centenary, and as a Jewel has been suitably designed, and approved, and it is now available in noticeably good time.
Let remember for the New Year and in the years ahead “Behold how good and pleasant it is to dwell in unity.”
I want to take this opportunity to thank all my fellow Knight Masons for electing me to serve with, among and for you, this year, and for one more year 2025 (D.V.).
