“Moneyreagh Action Cancer Group were presented with a donation of £410 from Moneyrea Union Band Council of Knight Masons no.41, in the Masonic hall, Church Road, Moneyreagh.
This donation was made to the local charity, in recognition of 80 years of Knight Council Masonry in the village. The Moneyreagh group have been raising much needed funds for cancer screening and other medical services for over 48 years and have so far, raised over £750k locally. The Council 41 have also donated £410 to the Down Masonic Widows Fund and to the Joseph Karmel Benevolent Fund, during their anniversary year.
