Resolution of Respect
In Memory of Cousin and Venerable Sir Knight James Chester Eckard Past Provincial Grand Superintendent for the Province of the State of Ohio who has passed to his eternal reward on June 14, 2026
“Beautiful life is that whose span is spent in duty to God and man. Beautiful calm, when the course is run. Beautiful twilight at the set of sun. Beautiful death with a life well done.”
Once again, a Cousin and Sir Knight, having completed the designs written for him on life’s trestle board, has passed through the portals of Eternity and entered the Most Holy Sanctum Sanctorum of the New Temple. He has received as his reward, the white stone with the new name written thereon. AND WHEREAS, the all-wise and merciful Great Creator of Heaven and Earth has called from labor to rest our beloved and respected Brother, Cousin, and Venerable Sir Knight, and he having been a true and faithful member of our beloved Order,
BE IT RESOLVED THAT… The Province of the State of Ohio, Knight Masons under Irish Constitution, in testimony of our loss, we tender the family of our deceased Cousin and Sir Knight sincere condolence in their deep affliction and that a copy of these resolutions be sent to his family
